So what's the difference? Does Recharge mean the Cooldown on it? I've upgraded about 3 shouts to 2nd word or 3rd word and they don't seem to change anything.

For example : Whirlwind Spirit - No travel distance increase and recharge goes from 20 to 25.

Frost Breath - I tested it 3 times on my Companion and it doesn't seem like it gains more slow duration or DoT damage.

Ice Form - Same as Frost Breath, tested it 3 times on my Companion carefully counting and it seems 1st word has the same duration as 2nd word.

So what's the deal? Am I missing something? Or am I doing something totally wrong?

Why put that face at the end? Has it ever ocurred to you that not everyone playing Skyrim knows everything? There is absolutely no hint or anything that says stronger shouts must be held down.. But thanks anyways.

No kidding! When I first got the upgrade the teacher was like, "Now use it!" and I was like "HOW!?" Finally had to alt-tab and Google it after failing to get it to work 10 times (though once it did work accidentally).

So tap the button for "Fus". Hold for a moment and release for "Fus Ro" and hold down longer for "Fus Ro Dah". Saw it described as "exhale", "inhale and exhale" and "inhale, exhale, inhale" for timing.

i still dont get what that one shout is good for. dunno what its name is right now, but if you use it, a random insult comes from the skys and nothing else happens?!

I think you are talking about the Throw shout. It is used to draw guards away. Ventriloquism.

Press = FUS!
Hold = FUS.....RO DAH!
Hold briefly = FUS.....RO!
