A thought on what Tamriel would be like.

Argonia(lower Morrowind and Black Marsh),

Aldmeri Dominion(Summerset Isles and parts of or all of Valenwood),

Nordic Empire/whatever it would be called(Skyrim and Dunmer and Orc remnants, [Solstheim and Skyrim),

Resdayn(Dunmer residing in the wastelands. Mostly Ashlanders that survived and formed together to make a culture that cultivated the land. Does not trust the Temple anymore and rejects the Dunmer on Solstheim. Mostly a tribal culture clinging to its past greatness and looks to the times when they were the Chimer for inspiration. Helseth(or whoever is king when the Dunmer experience the Red Year and get invaded) and his and other major houses possibly having gone to Solstheim.

Highrock+Hammerfell(they showed signs of cooperation in ousting the Orcs),

Elsweyr(a curve ball of an alliance between rebel Bosmer fleeing the Thalmor and joining the Khajiit)

Mede Empire(Parts or all of Cyrodiil and maybe parts of Elsewyr and is allies with the Khajiits)

Mostly just throwing out wild guesses.

Seem interesting? Seem likely? Lol...I feel the weight of the Lore masters bearing down on me before I even post this.

More or less the same. Likely the dunmer go back to Morrowind, and becomes more wary of not trying to piss off neighbors. At least that I think. Time moves slowly.

My guess:

There are three great powers: The Empire, The Dominion, and The Hist. The Dominion controls Summerset and Valenwood absolutely. The Empire controls Skyrim and Cyrodiil somewhat. The Hist control Black Marsh, have expanded Black Marsh's borders, and probably have a great disruptive influence over Morrowind.

Elswyr is independent only because nobody wants it. It is controlled by no-one, not even the Khajiit.

Hammerfell and High Rock are semi-independent. We know that the Altmer have their fingers in High Rock, but I don't think they've conquered it outright. I imagine that Hammerfell is in a similar situation: too strong to be conquered, too weak to resist all outside influence. I feel pretty certain that neither of these have been absorbed into the empire, because of the territory taken by Skyrim.

I would hope so. I mean I love the Dunmer and all but sometimes I felt they really needed an attitude adjustment lol. I am doubtful of how successful they have been in reclaiming Morrowind though. I mean Skyrim or someone(uh huh) hired Nordic and Orcish Mercs to take parts of Morrowind away and so did the Argos. They have a lot of obstacles to overcome. If it makes them a more close-knit people good for them. Their biggest weakness always was self division. I mean that is kind of why Vehk dropped a rock on their heads imo.

I actually forgot about the whole
Spoiler
Mane getting assassinated thing.
Elsweyr has had a lot of time to recuperate though and they are not exactly overcome with obstacles like the Dunmer. I do not see them as powerful as Argonia/Aldmeri Dominion/Empire but not exactly weak like the Dunmer likely are.

Isn't Elswyr a vassal state of the Dominion?

It fell apart into Anequina and Pellerine, and those are client states of the Dominion. So basically, yes.
