I want to be able to drop Quest Items, but I don't want to mess up the game in the process.

I've beaten the game and I still have all these Quest Item keys, notes, and misc items, and it's really annoying because it takes up all my inventory space.

I realize there is a console command, but I want to try scripting and hopefully upload this mod to the Nexus for others.

Do I need to put the script on each individual Quest Item, or can I put one on the player?

There are already plenty of mods on the Nexus site that allows you to drop quest items. Download one of those. Or... if you want to do it yourself, open up the CS. Once there, click on the Items tab and look for a quest item (scroll all the way to the right till you see the "Quest item" column). Double click the thing you want to make dropable, and tick off the "Quest item" box.
