Need help with expansions

Post » Fri Oct 02, 2009 5:53 am

I've got the GOTY edition of morrowind, so naturally I have tribunal and bloodmoon already, but when I've installed morrowind, no install button came up on any of the two expansions. Which annoyed me. Then I did a clean and thorough reinstall and ran as administrator, and it worked, data files an everything. But when I started the game an error popped up about not being able to find something with .dll ( I think it's something to do with the 3D) somewhere. I can't find them and I'm seriously cheesed off! All I want to do is play the game with expansions. Thanks in advance :)
P.S I'm on vista and I have UAC on, which I haven't tried to disable yet to put morrowind in another folder **HELP** now i cant even install morrowind, it just says play, not install. Can anyone help?

What DLL error came up? Are you using MGE?

Most likely, you're missing the D3D9 runtimes, found here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=143ef8c6-cff7-4af0-8209-1cdf49c58bc0

There may be a couple other things to try if those don't work.

I think it might have been the d3drm one (I can't remember) but I'm pretty sure that was it
