It actually came in handy!! Headed up 7k steps and I got jumped by a Snow Saber Cat. He would have stomped me... Level 12, crap armor, junk weapon, and only rank 1 of Unrelenting Force. But I used my racial on him and was able to sit and attack him without concern until he died and almost rolled off the cliff.

Good for you,glad to here that it can be usefull.
I allways tend to forget about it since I don't use any spell casting.Heck I even forget about my shouts.
I have animal command in my favorites,I'll have to make a conscuios effort to remember it for now on.After all it does seem to be an integeral part of roleplaying a Bosmer.

Haha I had totally forgotten about it too. But I guess before I quit last night, I must have hot keyed it because when I did get jumped by the cat today, I went to shout and BAM easy kill and no death.

So this life saving discovery was pure luck
