While I'd planned to start the game with a race whose background I'm familiar with, I could only get an OK looking face with a Redguard. Ever since, I've been struggling to find a way to justify most of the character's actions (specifically, siding with the annoyingly xenophobic and shortsighted Stormcloaks - IMHO) as there doesn't seem to be any quests tailored for Redguards, and I haven't stumbled across any of the Hammerfal lore outside of the Great War context.

If you could familiarize me with their pantheon and culture, I'd be really grateful. Also, not sure how much the Pocket Guide applies, as Cyrodiil was supposed to be a queer version of Venice with vampires and imps and what I got was a dreadfully dull Minas Tirith rip off

First, and really most importantly: No self-respecting Raga calls himself Redguard.
