Nord hate for Imperials.

I just didn't even know if when a Nord talked about wanting to "kill the next Imperial they see" if they meant ANY Imperial or an Imperial soldier.

Personally for this, I just thought they were talking about Imperial Soldiers since they didn't really seem to have any animosity towards my Imperial character. Though I don't discount they might be talking about all Imperials or maybe it's more of a case by case basis regarding civilians.

But I do mostly believe them to be talking about the Imperial soldiers. And again, that's just my own personal viewpoint on this and may not be accurate at all.

It's a fair assumption, but I don't think its entirely accurate.
Though it does seem that most of the Imperials in a position of power in Skyrim are sniveling little weasels. So that probably doesn't shine them in the greatest light, in the eyes of the populace.

I thought we were saying the same thing there in other post, as most Imperials probably support the Empire. And you said regarding the Nords that do currently hate the Empire "So by nature, against anyone/anything that is supporting the essentially false Empire."
Since those particular Nords want freedom from the whole Empire and not just the current ruler of the Empire. Though regarding the Imperials, it is possible that some might be opposed to the current rule but not the Empire as a whole.

Not to mention many Imperial soldiers are redguards, bretons, and nords ( I think). When a Stormcloak says such a line, they mainly imply any Imperial soliders. But I can understand the confusion. There are a lot of aspects of this game, while still awesome nontheless, that are quite confusing.

Well, in all fairness the current ruler of the Empire is the Thalmor.
