Lack of post mainquest dialogue.

I just finished the main questline. I sided with the Imperials and destroyed the Stormcloaks.

No one in the game even recognizes what happened, they continue to say things like, "We should be bringing the fight to them if we want to win the war" etc.

No one seems to recognize that I'm the guy who saved Skyrim, from both civil war and the dragons. I walk into a bar and I get the same lines as I did when I was level one. "Who are you?" "You don't look so tough" etc.
In Oblivion people would recognize that you saved Kvatch, now people don't even know me and I'm the savior of the providence.

None of the Jarls recognize that the war is over, and the Jarl of Solitude doesn't have any new dialogue after the main quest even though she explicitly states that she'll regain throne when the conflict is over. This is really immersion breaking to me,
what do you guys think?

Spoiler tags...

use them.

Although I do agree. I haven't beat the MQ yet, but now that I know this it makes it a bit of a disturbing thought. :I

I agree 100%. Kinda svcks that I've put all this work in and no one even gives me a pat on the back or a sweetroll.
