So i'm wonderin what situation those 4 provinces are in i know that resistance against the dominion is alive in hammerfell but thats it, so are hammerfell and high rock part of the Empire? And i haven't heard a thing about morrowind and black marsh other than that morrowind was destroyed and later conquered by black marsh just after the oblivion crisis, but where are they now?

Morrowind seems to be doing better off than it was earlier, Hammerfell seceded from the empire, High Rock is still apart of the Empire and Black Marsh is still independent.

As for the staus: southern Hammerfel is "devestated," we've got a lot of mixed messages and unclear information about Morrowind, High Rock is probably doing about as well as Skyrim, and Black Marsh is probably the best off of all the provinces. They've avoided all major wars, handled themselves superbly in the Oblivion Crisis, and haven't suffered any asteroid impacts.
