Numbers by perks; Perk 0/5?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:25 pm

Some perks like the first available perk by one handed have a number / another number like 0/5.

Does this mean you can pick that perk 5 times, each time, increasing the benefits (first time +20%, second time +30%)?

Does anyone know what those numbers represent or are for?

That's exactly right. Most of the level 1 perks with 0/5 go 20% bonus, then 40%, 60%, 80% and finally 100% bonus.

Cool thanks!

Does the perk require the relative skill to increase equally so +20% requires a skill of 20 and +40% requires skill of 40?

BTW, that's an impressive show real for your mods, can't wait to try your mods.

Ehhhh, usually not quite. It's a bit below. Like 20 for 20%, 30 for 40%, maybe 60 for 80%. and then like 90 for 90%. It's kind of staggered and odd.

And oh, haha thanks! I can't wait to make my mods! :P

Depends on the skill, but generally, yeah.

could someone also help me with a similar issue

in the Destruction Skill tree I put a point into the perk that increases frost spell damage. It's now one rank in, but I can't level it up to the second rank, why? Is there another requirement to put the perk point into the second rank?

I haven't really looked at the Destruction perks, but if that one is like other multi-rank perks you need a higher skill level for the second rank. If you look at the perk in-game it should tell you if you need more skill, and if so what that level is.
