Every companion I have come across feels like they are high functioning autistic or something, and the NPCs are easily outsmarted by the presence of a chair or a slight outcropping in the landscape.

The AI breaks immersion badly for me. Anyone else have this issue?

I also wish the enemies were much smarter and I wish the difficulty had an influence on this as well. If you hide behind a tree or rock I wish they would go around to attack you or something instead of shooting a fireball or arrow at the tree. But I still enjoy the game.
