I have a huge problem with my Crysis 2. I can't finish level "Out of the Ashes", because secondary fire on ICV doesn't work. First I thought that I'm missing something, because the alien robot always killed me with the truck. Then I went to see walkthrough video for this level and I saw that you have to fire rockets from ICV, which is secondary fire. Well, I can't do that, and I don't know why.

I have tried many things and nothing has worked so far:
- I changed my assigned key for secondary fire.
- I tried to change graphic settings (desperate try).
- I tried to load previous level "Masks Off" and reaching the level "Out of the Ashes" again.
- I searched for a console command that would fire secondary weapon (doesn't exist).

What else could I try? I want to continue to play this awesome game!!!

Please help.

EDIT: I remembered that secondary fire worked just fine in the "Road Rage" level.

i know this might seem like trolling but im not - so anyhow try plugging in a 360 controller - the game works so much better with it...
^^^ is my only real fix :s

Also - you can destroy the heavy with primary cannon - it just takes a lot of shots!

codename205, thanks for the suggestions. I will borrow a 360 controller from my coworker. But I'll ned a converter cable to USB too, right?

In the meantime I'll try to destroy it with primary canon... I'll just have to not miss or something(?)...

unfortunately you do need a convertor (yes i did just take those pictures for you )
this convertor normally comes if you but the Xbox 360 Game pad For Windows (which has red packaging instead of Xbox's green and its legit by microsoft)

I just went to try one last time to kill that mthrfckr with only primary fire and also I had an idea... I used the option "default" with keyboard settings to reset all key bindings... I haven't tried this yet, because the one for secondary vehicle fire wasn't used anywhere else and it didn't have much sense... but this time I said to myslef, the worst thing that can happen to me is that I'll just have to go and setup all my keys again...

And then it happened!!! With default keyboard bindings SECONDARY ICV FIRE WORKS!!!

I'm psyched!

But it's very tricky. If I change just one key binding, the secondary fire stops working again. So if this sht happenes to anyone else, just use default with no customization whatsoever and then change your settings back after finishing the level.

glad you got it working! i compleatly forgot about "reset to default"! There is another level with the ICV so remember to reset before that one
