Hi, currently I have around 60 saved files for Skyrim. Will deleting my previous saved files cause my progress to be deleted or can I do this to help relieve the menu lag I'm having?

Deleting a previous save file will have no impact on your latest save file in any way.

Its fine, latest save will have everything you have done. I had 250 files, too lazy to overwrite, think it was causes some crashes here and there, so I cut it down to about 20. Not crashed since and manual saving is far quicker.
