Does anyone know why the officers in the imperial and stormcloak war camps are invincible? Especially once the civil war is over and we're instructed to find these camps and root them out?

I'm just wondering what it is I've missed. I want to download the mod that makes everyone non-essential and kill them all. I'm just wondering why they're essential? Are we supposed to talk to them for some quest?

You can always type "disable" in the console after clicking on them, causing them to get removed from the game world until you decide to enable them again lol. But afaik they never thought people would care about such things.

nope, Beth forgot to take away their essential status once you choose the side of ongoing war.

Probably this, there are other examples of....... lack of attention in the finished product.

It will probably be fixed by a patch official/unoffical at some point
