Im doing a quest called "Animal Extermination" Ive been told to kill a sabre tooth but when I go there its already dead and the objective marker is stuck on the body. I killed it way back when I was a lower level. I cant pick up anymore quests with the companions until this is finished. Anyone else having this problem?

Have same problem, just alot earlier. Like, kinda first quest. Became a vampire quite early and had to get some help off youtube on how to get rid of vampirism and wasn't quite ready to do companions quest yet. So I accidental killed quest target, managed to get rid of vampirism but quest target is still dead and I can't do anything to either "complete" quest or skip it. Can't do any other quests for companions either cause this is the first quest from them. Any help at all here?
