So, I remember reading in some early previews that as you progress through the game and become more powerful and famous, people in towns would challenge you to "western-style" duels. So far I haven't noticed anything like that except from the bare-fisted brawls. Doe anyone know if the exist?

Happened to me multiple times on my mage.

And yes, it's to the death.

I had a guy challenge me to magic duel in solitude after i had done the college of winterhold quest line said something like "call yourself a mage? i'll be the judge of that" so i destroyed him and killed him and the guards didn't care.

I never got a duel challenge yet... What does it matter on if i do or not? Only mages get it or what?

"So you call yourself a mage? I'll be the judge of that"

Ok, sure whatever. Let's fight
