Just wanted to take the time to say, thanks!

Well, I can only say I'd seen the previews, but I could hardly believe how it looked when I first started Skyrim on my own PC.
A real world with a picture opportunity 'round every corner, rock faces, lush growth, or barren snowy paths, animals, some running off in the distance, others less friendly, in short a real phenominal atmosphere one seldom encounters in a digital world.
So, as with the starter of this thread, I'd like to say thanks for this opportunity to have an adventure galore in this mindblowing place.

Yeah have been following Skyrim since the day it was announced and I have seen every pre-release screenshot and video known to man! It hasn't disappointed me in the least infact it has exceeded my expectations by some margin! I am playing on the PS3 atm in Surround Sound and on a 52 inch FULL HD screen, I haven't had ONE crash in 45 hours of gaming or hard lock or glitch so it is ALOT more reliable than FO3 was and Oblivion.

Same here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but no issues so far on PS3 for me.

BTW, the sound in this game is amazing! Not just the sound track (Soule is amazing as always), but every little detail. From crickets chirping, thunderous waterfalls, and the bass and rumble of giant boulders falling and narrowly missing your head, to the sound of knocking a bow and arrows bouncing off rocks. Great job to the Beth sound department. If everyone doesn't have it, I would highly recommend some sort of surround sound for this game. I was playing with a nice pioneer elite sound set up, but I was limited to how loud I can crank it up. The other day I went out bought a $100 wireless PS3 headphone set. Best $100 I have spent. I couldn't believe the amount of details that are missed without headphones. It really puts you in the world. Highly recommended if you want to get the most out of the game!

I as well want to say thank you to Beth. Great game best I have ever played. The amount of detail in this game is staggering. Chomping at the bit to get home and play.

I've already said it in another thread but what a fantastic game!

Thank you Bethesda, you have truly created a masterpiece with Skyrim and you have raised the bar for the RPG genre and games in general.
