Like who really won, the stormcloaks or imperials? Im really hoping the imperials, given that their army is spread thin to begin with snuffed out ulfrics little rebellion.

Personally, from what ive seen by beating that quest, ulfric stormcloak is the most power-hungry manipulative man ive ever seen in my life. Picture saddam hussein + osama bin laden + that crazy korean guy all wrapped in one crazy person who is sick enough to use the banning of talos worship to start a war, not because hes fighting for religion or freedom, hes just fighting for a throne, for power. I get the feeling that he doesnt even care about his people. I relish the day that i get to slit his throat, im gonna save right before i do it and rinse and repeat until i feel that crazy bastard got what he deserved.

All outcomes all occur. Usually simply by being vague enough that either occur and any subsequent events make the differences moot.

So come TES VI, will there just not be any books on Skyrims events in the game? Oblivion had one outcome, and one choice, and theres books in skyrim that explained all that. However you're given two choices here, even though its not the main quest, i consider it the secondary main quest, being as long and important as it is.

Seems uninteresting if the lore isnt defined as it should be.

There may be books, they just won't say who won what. They may go into refugee situations, the human cost, the causes, etc.
