I finished the forswore quest in Markarth a while ago and many of the city guards were killed during the final stages. I've been back since, and none of the corpses disappeared. I hadn't really expected them to, but it got me thinking. Wouldn't it make more sense if, in the cites at least, the corpses disappeared after a while? They could even have NPC's whose job it is to clear corpses from the streets. Like crypt-keepers or something. It would make a lot more sense then the bodies just sitting there forever. I've tried pulling the bodies into the water, but they just won't budge. Would do you guys think?

Not sure about those guards but the guards that were killed during a Riverwood dragon attack did disappear over time, not as quickly as would be reasonable but they did eventually go, the dragon skeletons never seem to go though

Wut? Dragon corpses disappear the most quickly in my game by far. I've killed 4 dragons in the mage college courtyard (really crazy luck there I guess) and every time I fight a new one the old corpse has already despawned. Which makes me super sad. I wanted to make a dragon graveyard

There were two dragons I killed in the Mages Collage courtyard so far. Their skeletons still remain
