Am I missing something? Azura is a PRINCE?

sixuality could be an echo or an homage to the first duality. It could also be completely unrelated to the mythos.

Very intriguing.

Though which gender do you suppose fits either Anu or Padhomay? Going the traditional route, which we see all over Earth-culture, I'd say Anu is the more masculine principle while Padhome is feminine. The robust absolute against the gracile void and all that.

Then again, in the Aurbis, both Anuiel and Sithis are referenced as male, while the feminine principle- Nirna, is the mediation of those poles, the gray maybe.

If you trade Azuras star back to her in trade for six, then maybe she has a little "Surprise" underneath "her" robe? Youll be screaming from dusk to dawn... screams of satisfaction or screams for help? Depends on what you like I guess? :D

You have the Daedric gods, who take form of either male or female. But... then you have Hermaeus Mora... Who takes the form of a crab-blob. Because of this, it is my favorite Daedric god thus far.

I am not surprised; you probably have to sift through tons of porm just pry any useful secrets from his realm. It stands to reason Apocrypha is the Internet of Aurbis.

The Daedra don't have a six, but given that many of the Princes choose to appear as a gender, surely that implies some kind of gender identity. If you look at human gender identities, there is a pretty wide palette to choose from. Some of the Princes may be both male and female, genderless, or pretty exclusively masculine/feminine.

I sometimes wondered if daedra (other alien doodads) might also appear the way they do bc of limited mortal comprehension. Like in that one Cosmology line--infinite planes wrapped up in other infinite planes? We only see bubblespherical-ish planets, lest our brains implode

--So scamps, weak with few thoughts beyond ravenous aggression. They manifest as violent but small creatures. Gremlins, imps, etc. Scared of higher powers, reveling in mischief if they can't betray their summoner outright.

--Then dremora, which embody every sort of warflavor. Relishing blood to semblances of pride or respect. Manifest as powerful humanoid creatures

Species/clans of daedra, each representing certain ideas or thoughts, manifesting forms bending to mortal imaginations, fear, understanding. Etc etc

The Prince of plots appears in a form designed to allure the current hero. So the Imperial Agent was male, the Nerevarine and CoC were female, and I haven't met Boeth in Skyrim yet.

Um... no? There is no canon race or gender for the Nerevarine or CoC.
