Whining about what you come across in the game won't fix it, either. Obviously you don't know much about developing video games, Engines and so on. I'm no expert either but one of the main reasons for the issues in this game is from the Gamebryo Engine. It's very old in today's standards. Why was it used for Fallout 3 and now New Vegas is beyond me. But until more patches and updates come out to resolve what can be fixed you'll just have to be patient.
This is not a barrage on you but more a grievance at the repenting nature of the "patient" advice people are giving. It is entirely deducible from how long you've been experiencing this, just NV, then try playing this and FO3 while making your point. I'm tired also of people making threads saying "Example of Bug" then adding how aggravating it is, and rather condescending replies saying stop worrying; stop complaining; it's just a game. The nature some are taking to may be extreme, but I did not go out and buy a pair of 50pence socks. I personally will
not allow what was a superb Fallout series sink due to embarrassing testing/programming in the first place. The engine was their choice, and given the fact the majority of the reviews I have read have actually mentioned the likeness - too much likeness - to FO3 that was one of their downfalls. They made no attempt to differentiate the game, and from all the media hype
they broadcasted they made it out like the next big thing in the series.
Down to the knowledge of developing games, I have extremely little but even I know that at a price of £40 British Sterling this is not adequate. I have
never joined a forum to purposefully explain the difficulties and faults of what was to be my coming soon of the year. In fact, once I registered I realised I couldn't add anything because the general public within one day had posted almost 3/4+ full forum pages of bug references.
Slowly this public realised they were not being listened to, especially after another rushed patch fixing noticeably nothing, they got restless. And lo behold what happens, narcissistic forum
wardens lock subjective threads in a pitiful attempt to control the anger of the public. An anger most warranted.
I paid £40 for this game, I did not get the full value of that of which I am very astute about.
