» Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:55 pm I swear I follow the install directions perfectly, but I keep getting a message that "MGEgui has stopped working". It looks as if its about to find a solution to the problem, but just closes out. Its driving me nuts :brokencomputer:
If none of the troubleshooting in the readme works, you can try removing "d3d8.dll" and "dinput8.dll" from your Morrowind folder (you can just toss it onto your desktop) and starting up Morrowind and load a save game, then exit, put the files back in the folder and MGE should work properly. At least that worked for me.
