Possible DLC location

basicly beth created more landmass thany intended to use, ive narrowed it down to 2 possobilities.

1. DLC locations which does make sense because there are a lot of untold stories told yet, pluss they have already done half the work.

2.helping modders, this is also a good possobility because it is bound to happen a modder making a mod which lets you travel to one of the other provinces

can you think of any other reasons?

edit: the pictures are most likely fake but you can't denie the landmass is there in the proper shape

It'd make sense that Bethesda would use worse textures for these areas, if those pictures are infact legit.

We can go check it out ourselves, on the PC though apparently.

Wonder why all the screenshots are blurred? Because they are fake.

I like how none of these screenshots are fake and only one of them is from Oblivion for obvious comparison reasons

I don't really think there's much of a reason other than that they don't want the world view to suddenly stop when you're looking across the Skyrim border, same as why they continued on with the landscape in Oblivion

Sure, you narrowed it down. Even though the guy who found this said exactly that. Funny how you both said the same...exact...thing.

It's not fake...this has been discussed in the modding section for a while now.

For those crying fake, they are blurry because those are the Distant land textures, the ones you usually only see at extreme ranges. Bethesda clearly didn't think it worth taking up additional disk space with higher detail textures for areas most people won't visit.
