I started out planning to be something of a spellsword using mostly sword and destruction but I kept getting killed. I ended up using mostly sneak plus conjuring but I don't know what to call such a character. Any suggestions?

A character that fights by conjuring minions and hiding himself... Sounds like a puppeteer that draws the strings from behind the curtain.
