Is it meal time and/or is the guard holding something in his one hand and bringing up his other hand to his mouth once in a while. Like he's eating something?
The guard, as any NPC, is probably scheduled to eat and most NPCs go sit down while they eat, if there is an empty seat. Picking the seat is usually random for NPCs. Interesting choice if that is the case here. :laugh:

No, surprisingly not. I believe the guard was following a travel (sit in chair) package, which is unusual, as I've never seen a guard sit down and do nothing before.

But then again, I kinda snapped the picture and kept going. He might have started eating when I left the room. (Too embarrased to move, I guess)
