Think the game is too easy?

Here's a suggestion: maybe you should put down the daedric armor and sword and strap on some cold hard steel. Yes yes, I know Bethesda put Daedric in the game, but remember, the game is about options. They give you the option to play as a demi-god or as a mortal. If you pick demi-god gear and wonder why you can't seem to die, then you need to need to reexamine your priorities. If you find it boring that one lazy swipe of your mace is taking out whole swaths of enemies, then maybe you should stop dressing like Sauron. Just sayin.

The way options work is different for different people.

Some people find it unfun to have to artificially remove things from the game. Especially stuff that is lying around in plain sight everywhere.

For these people making stuff like that godmode REDUCES options.

But you won't understand because it's very hard to understand how people other than yourself think. I don't begrudge you that.

Lol, I see through your 6 sentences. You just wanted to make the Sauron joke.

It's not deadric armor that's the problem, it's double improved enchanted deadric armor that's the problem.

Yeah, but what people with those things can't understand is that saying that your awesome warrior who's also the best blacksmith and enchanter of the land is too OP because he can two-shot dragons with the Mace of Enchanted Dragonslaying +999 he crafted isn't really a valid complaint. It's like saying your demigod is too OP.

This. If a game has reduced options to start, and then you have to artificially avoid a lot of the deliberate design mechanics, you end up with a very narrow range of features.

I think we've all seen the youtube videos of ADD afflicted teens who 'must' get their jollies on maxing out every skill as fast as possible, all while yelling at the tv screen if things aren't going their way.

Every choice you make narrows your options. E.g. If you choose to slot daedric gear, then your limiting yourself from using iron/steel. It's called "opportunity cost."
