Will my PS3 rank & stats carry over to PC multiplayer?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:56 pm

I am on level 33 on the PS3 and recently built a new PC and wants to jump back on the multiplayer but was hoping i would still have the same rank and stats.

I remember registering my online profile with EA so i was assuming that your EA profile stores your rank and stats no matter what platform you play on.

So does anyone know what the go is with this?

It's possible since Crysis 2 uses your gamesas account but I'm not sure. >_>

I really doubt they carry over. I have no basis for my argument but you can always try and find out.

They won't carry over. Your stats are saved on that platforms servers. For example, I played skate 3 on ps3 (another ea game) then played skate 3 on xbox 360, stats didn't carry over. Different genre of game sbut still a EA game regardless, servers are platform specific and since consoles have NO servers and it's all p2p I doubt they will. I wouldn't hold your breathe unless you really have nothing better to do or spend your money on but expect a "I told you so" or a "We're sorry, but we can't transfer your stats and apologize for the inconsistence but thank you for buying our product." from EA, crytek, and the crysis 2 community. Not trying to be harsh, just my two cents.
