I am having the same issue as everyone, with the black freeze screen on th stip, problem is that I am in the Gomorrah Casino, and dont have the cowboy hat. I cant leave at all or travel fast from the courtyard, is there any other way out of this casino? I really dont want to restart.

If you still have the hat from the guy you killed outside on the debt collector mission you can wear it to get out.
If you've already turned it in then I think you're screwed till they fix the bug

I was stuck there too. I went in right after I killed the guy.
But since I had just killed him his hat was still in my inventory and I was able to figure out that his hat works too.
