Hi guys, Just starting a new character and need to know -- to complete the MG recommendations and get to go to the Arcane Uni, do I have to be major skilled in all classes of magic?

Will influence how magical my char is / what skills he has. Really want to get to AU quickly, get a staff and start doing some Oblivion gates.

No, there are no skill requirements for guilds in this game.

A warrior who has never used an ounce of his magicka can become the Arch Mage.
