well google works wonders but anyways idk what you're talking about unless its soul gem traps then hit the soul gem fast before it attacks you. (i've done the whole thing btw)

No thats not a spoiler and i swear if someone calls me out on it. People here are too touchy.

Use whirlwind rush, (the shout). To get close to the soul gems at the far end of the corridor and then quickly pick them up before they can attack you. Hug the walls where possible and you should be fine.

I ran straight for it and picked up the soul gems that shoot the fire.

Alternatively, go outside from the whole place, take up the atronarch standing stone and you'll absorb half of the fire. Alternatively, you can do perilytes quest and get his shield. From how I've understood it, blocking with it will summon a magical wall in front of you that protects you against magical attacks.

Or just turn down the difficulty.

Become ethereal also works, as well as the whirlwind shout as Gneilson said.

It's the part where there is a straight passage and at the end there is what looks like 3 diamonds and when you get close it shoots a fireball. I've tried using the spell that resists magic and i almost make it every time but i always end up burning to death. (btw i don't have a bow right now so how do i hit it?)

I struggled massively with this also. The easiest way is to use whirlwind sprint dragonshout and quickly run up the stairs out of its range (well that's how i did it )

And you didn't burn to death? I tried using the spell that blocks spells and I made it to the stairs but then the fire that was burning me killed me every time :brokencomputer:

I'd say your best bet then is to use the Shout become Ethereal. That makes you untouchable by magic and physical means for it's duration. I'd use that and then stroll up the corridor, turn right, and then head up the stairs.

I wore heavy armour so I could tank one shot of the fireball. So as long as I was quick enough I would get through still alive and then I could heal up Don't bother with that block spell thing it's useless, just sprint around the corner and use whirlwind sprint and then either take the soul gems things out or run sideways up the stairs and out. If you die the first time just keep trying, you will do it eventually.

You're in for a rough run if that was hard, tell me how you fare against the last boss.

You know, one of the easiest ways to get past it is to simply toss a fireball down at the gems. They're not nailed down - and when they go flying, it disables the trap. =P That's how I got past on Expert.

I used a Ward spell.

Use the Ethereal Form shout.

right before you get hit by fireballs, they give you a ward.. Duhh.. Use it

I found the easiest way was to use unrelenting force and knock the soul gems off the pedestals.

I guess I was the only one who used my Restoration skill and kept putting up ward until I got to the end of the hallway. Each fireball destroyed a ward with one hit so it was tricky. Fun though.
