Nords no longer immune to frost? and resistant to shock?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:52 pm

While playing as a nord warrior, I noticed I would take damage everytime a restless draugr would use his ice spell. So it got me thinking. Are nords no longer immune to frost? and are they still 50% resistant to shock like in Morrowind?

On the same note. Are Dunmers still 75% resistant to fire? and Bretons 50% resistant to magicka?

They're 50% resistant to frost. No shock resistance.

Im not sure if the breton is resistant ALL the time, but they are 50% resistant to magic.

Honestly though, did you expect to be completely immune to an elemental damage just by picking your race? thats ridiculous.

Dunmers have 50% Fire resistance. An in game loading screen tip claims Bretons have 50% Spell resistance but it's actually 25%.

That's how it was in Morrowind. I just thought the racial benefits were carried over.

But either way it's all good. I'm still having fun with my warrior.

As for everyone else thanks for your replies.
