Lorkhan Lives? *spoilers*

Hey Folks! First-time poster, long-time player here, and I was wondering if yall would puzzle this out for me.

So, what I was hoping to pontificate upon is, in effect, Sovngarde and the status of the deity known both as Shor and Lorkhan. Now, its stated in previous lore that Lorkhan was the only Aedra to completely sacrifice his physical essence to the creation of Nirn and thus has utterly no active agency or intelligence left as his essence has become the physical world itself. This being the reason why he is most commonly referred to as a "dead" god.

But then here we have Sovngarde, a place outside of Nirn created as an afterlife for Nords who die in battle and a realm that is seemingly in some sort of contact with Shor, evidenced by Ysgramor's mention that Shor has forbade any of the heroes of the hall to go out and do battle with Alduin as it is exclusively the Dragonborn's destiny to do so.

...bwuh??

What does this mean? Is Lorkhan still active in Mundus? How is he aware of the battle between Alduin and the Dragonborn? Is this intelligence a new development?

Discuss :)

o.O A fascinating supposition, you think Lorkhan's spirit still has consciousness and power but is limited to his own little spirit realm? >.> That sounds an awful lot like a Daedric Prince to me....

But he's not limited to his realm. He has aspects wandering all over Nirn, I believe one source refers to them as "ghosts".
