Co-Executables...

I have a bit of a puzzle.

I am running the resolution changer to use MW at the resolution of my monitor. I also want to use FPS Optimiser to increase the draw distance.
Thing is FPSO won't change the resolution, and the Resolution Changer won't extend the draw distance.
--
You have to start the game via the Resolution Changer, and it appears that the FPSO also requires that you start the game via it.
--
As you can see, I don't appear to be able to use both at the same time.
--
Which is my question: Can I use both at the same time? :o)

You need to start through Resolution Chager? I thought that it only makes registry change, and after that is no longer needed. But I may be mistaken.

Ah...
I didn't know that - I had kind of assumed it was dynamic on a per-use basis...

Just try out, we'll think more if it doesn't work :)

FPS Optimizer can change the resolution, it's under "change registry settings here" on the first tab. You can also adjust FOV and aspect ration on the misc/2 tab. I never needed the Resolution Changer to set my Morrowind to widescreen mode.

Ah right.
Thank you all - I will go away and look at that!

And apologies for all the stupid new player questions as well...

Don't worry, no apologies necessary - the only reason why we _can_ answer these questions is that we already made lots of typical newbie mistakes in the past. :) Morrowind, with its multiple engine extenders, several thousand mods, and many vastly different tools, can be especially tough for a newcomer. So if I can help anyone to make not quite as much mistakes as I did in the beginning, that's good. :)
