One giant leap!

I'd like to say that I have really enjoyed Skyrim so far. When I think about Reguard, Morrowind and Oblivion I always felt that the overall concept was great, with soooo much potential. Alas there was always something that would take the shine off the playability whether it was bugs, graphics and/or even keybinding problems.

For me (and I am very fussy about how user friendly a game is) Skyrim is in a league of its own. The revamp is engine, graphics, A.I and my pet hate for all PC games...keybinding is a massive leap forward and my faith in Bethesda's TES franchise is restored! Thank you Bethesda for doing this.

I'd like to see more positive feedback from everyone who as experienced the previous installments of TES compared to the all new TES-Skyrim. What has changed for the better for you? If you have any 'niggles' yes mention them but lets keep the mood positive  Give Bethesda some healthy feedback for patch days :P

Kind regards,

Yeah. It's my only criticism of the game. Much prefered most of Oblivion's.

That said I prefer more than 10 favourites shortcuts, but I miss not being able to see my own character in the preview pane. As I largely play in first person I rarely actually see the guy I created.

But minor issues, really. :)

Hopefully (Only PC) we'll end up with some monster UI mods :)

I was concerned about the keybinding at first but found I could bind exactly to what I personally wanted. Being an ex-warcrafter I would have liked to have seen not just 1 - 8 for 'Favorites' but as many keys as I saw fit to need for my playstyle. As consoles go, I thought Bethesda may have opted for the 'weapon wheel' style UI that Rockstar used in Red Dead..
These days, having to pause the action to take a potion or change a weapon is a little dated i agree. If I was forced to choose a U.I that was console-based for simple but effective use; I would have to say FromSoftware's - Demons/Dark Souls. Though I understand that opinions vary.
