Why do you need stamina potions with Respite exactly?

Also, yes you would focus on stamina, and probably also enchant to foritfy more stamina

Just did a test. I have 95 in my block skill and just about 210 stamina and ofc fast heal + the perk.

Killed a cave bear in 10 shield bashes in 30 seconds. A bit bad yes but heck, it's beating a bear with a shield :P Gonna try on other more dangerous creatures though I think.

What was your shield, how much armor did it have, how much armor do you have, difficulty level?

Dragonplate Shield.

The shield has 81 armor.

601 armor rating total on me.

Expert difficulty.

Just had a fairly tedious fight against a blood dragon. Took it down in 2 minutes and 30 seconds using only shield bashing and healing. So no damaging it when it is flying and I was lagging a bit since I decided to record the fight in case that was of any importance.

And it's still quite okay if you are patient enough to deal with a bit longer fights than 3-hit kills. If you want I could upload that video I took against the blood dragon. Or I could do some specific tests for you like take off some armor to lower my armor rating and then kill some certain creature and so on and so on.

That would be great, maybe we could figure out what modifies its damage

Does it really matter ? It's still viable. Heck I can kill dragons, bears, giants, anything. Using shieldbashing + using fast heals with the rengenerate stamina from healing perk.

I think shield bashin is pretty good.
A) interrupts dragon shouts
B) You can "stun lock" enemies by bashing then smashing.
C) Deflect arrows / spells
D) Knock enemies down by running over them with shield up.
E) Does good amount of damage.
