Muffle

Anyone know of any good shops that may carry something I can learn the muffle enchantment from? Spent the last couple nights hitting solitude, riften, and whiteheaven.

I'm pretty sure you can get this from Whiterun. The Jarl's mage sell's it.

he's asking for the enchantment not the spell. the only thing i've seen with the muffle enchant on it is the boots at the dark brotherhood. they give you a set but then there is a dresser in the main entry room that has another set of armors on it. you should be able to break down the extra set for the enchantment.

Nightingale boots Muffle as well, but I'm pretty sure you can't disenchant either set.

Yea, I've got a fair amount of boots with muffle, but I can't disenchant them. All of them are special boots from the BH or other things

I got a random pair of glass muffle boots from a chest, and disenchanted them ASAP.

I tried this, and couldn't disenchant the extra set. Was disappointed.

I just keep checking merchants as I travel. Hoping that eventually I'll get lucky.

Found mine as levelled loot - disenchanted it too.

Does this mean I no longer need the Light Armour perk which makes my armour weigh nothing, since I move silently? =D

Silent footsteps are not the same thing as silent armor. That perk still has its own benefit.
