^^^ yea, better idea...do this since your buddy "no longer uses the computer". The power supply from the Dell is probably going to be better than the stock one that came with your buddy's PC...unless of course he upgraded it or something....so that would be worth transfering along with hard drives and optical drives. RAM speeds will probably be different though, so shouldn't mix them.
It's a little more complicated than that though. He doesn't want Oblivion being run on his computer because he thinks it takes up too much space, when you include all the mods and everything I have. I misunderstood what he said about no longer using it, apparently he no longer uses it to
play games, since all of the space they take up gets in the way of his stuff for work. He said I could take his motherboard and processor and RAM, and try to get them to fit in my computer while I give him mine to put in his. The swap wouldn't hurt his because he no longer needs high end hardware since he doesn't play games anymore.
