As a Khajiit I find the Stormcloaks a bunch of racist b*****ds. Unless I roll a character who is 'evil', I'll never side with the Stormcloaks. As Darthboard mentioned previously, his actions seem to be dictated by desires of power as opposed to restoring the honor of the nords.
