Scripting weapon property changes

Essentially, I want to know whether it's possible to change weapon properties through scripting, namely reload animation. Pretty much, I want to write a script that determines what weapon is being used and changes the reload animation speed so that it's faster while the effect is active. Anyone have any ideas about both whether that's possible and how to do it if it is?

Might be possible to change reload speeds in the GECK, im not sure, as for scripting and animations I cant help you there.
