Constant "BOOM" in distance?

One of my mods is causing a load "BOOM" in the distance every few seconds. Here is my load order:

Might be the same problem http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1120047-boom-boom-boom-soul-trap-effect/ has. Then there's a fix included in the thread

Edit: Screwy link. Fixed

Another problem may be with the load order itself.
Using BOSS would show an entirly different order.

No BOSS sorted load order + no Bashed Patch + lots of mods = problems

yes. Oblivion has to be first.

I scanned the list twice but didn't see Malevolent. Maybe I missed it. In any case, Malevolent can cause the boom problem. If you don't have it,

I had the same problem (and apparently some others did too based on what I read on the forums) with Ruined Tail's Tale, the most recent version of which made my game very unstable after the fire in the inn and which caused weird sound behavior. Loud "Boom" noises occurred after that point regardless of what I tried and the game became very unstable with CTDs. I uninstalled it and haven't had a problem since.

I noticed you're running that, so you may want to try deactivating it as an experiment.
