Beating Skyrim in under 3 hours?!

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 9:45 am

How is that even possible? I want video proof or it didn't happen! :liplick:

I've read in a few places that there was some competition of sorts and someone beat the game in about 2 and 1/2 hours. Heck, it takes me almost two hours to get to the point where I beat the first dragon, so I just can't imagine doing the main questline in such a short amount of time.

We want proof! :)

Well at least we know they didn't play on Master difficulty with a conjure/restoration mage :)

Well they already knew the story and went straight for the main quest.

But who else would bother doing that? Defeats the purpose of the game IMO.

He did it because it was a dev, and therefore he knew how to speedrun through the game. I bet I could beat it in ONE hour...... if you let me use Console Commands of course

Yeah, but still. I mean I don't doubt they did it, but I just don't see how it took so short. The content seems to be at least 10 hours long, if not more.

They sprinted through all the dungeons without fighting anything they didn't have to, skipped through conversations, etc.

It was just the main quest and he helped make it so he knows the quickest way to beat it.

I should have stated MQ only, as this is what I'm referring to. Yeah, I understand it was a dev. and understand to run through things, but it still sounds ridiculously short.

The record for Morrowind was something like 15 minutes, though I'm not sure if that was the speed run without console commands. Not more than two hours, anyway, I think.
