The title says it all anyone else having this issue I have killed 3 dragons in a row now and the body just sits there in full flesh. I can loot the body and take everything but the soul stays with the dragon no clue why..

Happened once to me. Also, i found a word wall for the second word for slow time, but it never showed up in my shouts as an unlockable. Reloaded two times and still it did not show up in my menu

are you fighting the dragon from burial site which you have already cleared? i cant get souls from those dragons as well

It's because you're not dragonborn. You just don't have the gift. Sorry.

This hasnt happened to me yet(PC).

I read somewhere that its a bug on PS3, supposedly it happens when you have more than 5-6 unused souls.

Try using some of your stored souls, if you have any, and see if the bug goes away.

Once I killed a dragon with arrows and it died far away, and it didn't give up a soul until I walked right up to it

Try going away and coming back to the area

Also, you may have "maxed out" the souls you can store. There's a limit. Are you hoarding them?

This has happened to me twice in a row now. I'm playing on the PS3 and have no extra dragon souls that need using.

Im playing on PC and have 0 souls saved and I have walked right up beside them all 3 times and nothing >.< and to add insult to injury my horse went missing on the last fight so i lost 1000g for nothing lol

The dragon was a ginger. jk :biggrin:
