Ok. My bad. I definitely should have elaborated on the "floaty weapons and stuff". Keep in mind, I only played it for about an hour....and it was a while ago.
By floaty weapons I just meant that I felt like there was a disconnect between my weapon and the thing I was supposedly smashing the heck out of. I felt like the only thing I was hitting was little ticks off of a bar. Thinking back though, I felt kind of similar about skyrim at the beginning. Now I'm frying dudes left and right, smashing them with my shield, and knocking them over the head with my mace. ....uh oh. I'm getting excited just thinking about it. :woot: ...... So....back to reality. Is the combat in Skyrim vastly improved over what it is in Oblivion? Is it possible that I've matured as a gamer?
Mods are an interesting idea. What kind of mods are there? Gaming nirvana sounds like a pretty awesome place to be.
What do you mean by it isn't as "grim"? I wouldn't really describe Skyrim is grim....then again I was just playing Fallout..... :nuke:
Oh...and completely unrelated sidenote. Some of these emoticons are freaking hilarious!
Thanks to everyone for replying. :celebration:
