Character* I love their stats and their super awesome racial ability but would it be better to play as a nord or an orc?

I just started a 2H Orc on master. I like their starting stats and my Orc looks kinda psychotic.

I recently made a dual-wielding orc and it's quite a bit of fun. Especially when going berserk.

I'm playing a sword and board orc right now. He's my favorite. Berserk is great in a pinch. I like blocking. Lol.

They're awesome, but alas their inherent ugliness and dental problems mean I cannot bring myself to play as one.. I would do anything to get that berserker ability through the consoles though :/

I just started a two hander as well. So far I like. The appearance is a nice change from my redguard and when I get tired of his ugly I'm goin helmet

I played through the game as an Orc my first time through. It's pretty interesting how the people in the game react differently to your race, plus I love the berserk ability, it rocks!. Though when they release their next patch I will play through it again as something totally different. I kind of rushed through the game the first time through just to get a feel for the game; I know I missed a ton of stuff though.

Sure, they're good. Berserker is a great special to have vs. things like Bandit chiefs, and Orcs look pretty badass now instead of just... ugh... like they did in Oblivion.

Berserker rage is the best racial in the game apart from High elfs magiga, for magic users.

+100% damage for 1 minute while reducing ALL incoming damage with 50%.
Add in the items you can get and I strongly recomend you ignore any crafting professions and dont go dual wield unless you want to just steam roll anything.

Zerker rage cant be spammed ofc, its a once per day ability. I usually used to save it for dragons with my, now retired orc, and It did make the encounters a little...easy.

If you want a true warrior in this game:

Go Noord. Use 2h and Light Armor. Only some mediocre smithing but no other secondary professions (do NOT take enchanting or alchemy) but stick to light armor. And you will have a blast.
Trust me.

Just wear the Nightingale Hood and you don't have to see their horrid teeth. Of course the way you get the armor isn't really for an orc at all, so maybe that's not an option.

Hmm my orc battlemage never had a racist comment thrown at her.. oh well she did get some remarks while killing bandits but thats just smack talk during battle.

Would sword a board, heavy armour, archery, be good for an orc?

at least the orc females don't look like males as they did in oblivion...

In Skyrim,its not too hard to create a reasonably cute Orc girl.
A clever selection of nose,mouth and eyes with a slimmed down range of brow,jaw and chin make for a lovely combination.
