Hey guys!

I've just rerolled a Kahjiit, after played to lvl 40-ish. I wasted a lot of perks on trees I dont want to use now (like I deceided to go for the thief/assassin type later on, and I put perk-points in destruction and so on). SOO wish there was a way to reset the perks.. Oh well, thats another discussion.

I like the idea and looks for my Kahjiit, but I think the powers he has is useless (15+ dmg barehanded and nightvision, which is kinda weird), so I came to think about the Breton's magic resistance. I like to think assassins as a mages nemesis, and magic resistance sure helps for that, dont you think?

Is this also a "once pr day"-power?

The 25% magic resistance is permanent.

Combined with Lord stone you have 50%.

Combined with you only need one enchanted piece of clothes to reach the magic resistance cap.

/edit: I pretty much laugh at any magic using enemy besides dragon priests.

The Breton has a constant 25% resistance to magic (used to be 50%). And the special ability, Dragon skin, once a day useage to resist 50% of damage.

They also lost the +50 to Magicka as well i belive.

Yeah you also have an ability to absorb 50% magicka of the spells that hit you.

I think either orc (double damage dealt, half damage taken for 60 second), high elf (+50 magicka and regenerate magicka fast for 60 seconds) or breton are the best to go with. But tbh khajits looks the best IMO, so do what you want ha.

In my opinion it's the best racial by some way

How long is the Dragonskin-power durable?

Yeah, alittle off topic, but ive concidered making a Orc madman with either dualwielding, or sword + board, heavy armor, double dmg-power and rock the spot.

But, uhm. I also like the looks of the khajit, and I CAN get a spell from the Alteration tree (if im not mistaken) when perked out (x3) you get +30 spell resistance.

Then I can scratch the eyes out of the critters with my claws, WHILST lookin in the dark, WHILST having +30 spell resistance.

They changed allot of the racial abilities in this game.

Breton:

Oblivion: +50 points in Magica - Continous 50% spell resistance - Dragon Skin ability, Shield 50% for 60 seconds once a day .

Skyrim: Continuous 25% Magic resistance - Dragon Skin ability, Shield 50% for 60 seconds once a day.


So the Breton Dragon skin ability is the same, but Magic resistance is halfved & the +50 points into magica is gone.

I often got killed by one or two spells on my first character, on the standard difficulty (adept?)

Then I joined Club Breton :whistling:

I cant remember who wrote it, but i read a quote on here a few days back regarding the Bretons in Morrowing
