How long do companions wait before going to default location : Fallout: New Vegas

I lost track of Rose of Sharon Cassidy, aka Cass, somewhere along the road. Clearly I told her to wait and now I've forgotten where. She's not dead, because I never got a message saying she was and I can't hire other companions. How many in-game days before she goes back to the Mojave Outpost.

If I have my suite at the Lucky 38 will she go there instead of her original location?

mine showed up 7 days where I first got them, I got a message telling me they were there.
