DLC Rumors

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 1:08 pm

The Summetset Isles. I frigging hate the Thalmor, just because of what they did to Talos. Everytime I hear someone say "Thank the Eight" I cringe. I spent A LOT of time playing Oblivion and I will accasionaly say "Thank the Nine" in real life situations. But a DLC to destroy and rid the Empire of the Thalmor. An I guess the possibilty to help them, for those Altmer loving ________. Tiber Septim is the greatest hero in all of TES lore, and deserves his place as the Ninth. Tiber Septim created the Empire and his decendants ruled it until Martin, and I don't remember hearing of any Altmer hero to accomplish such a feat.

If you think about, fighting the Thalmor would be possible no matter what side you joined in the Civil War, because the Empire hates the Thalmor just as much as the Stormcloaks. The White Gold Concordnant was only a way of saving the Empire, and they abide by thier ruled because the Aldmeri Dominion could destroy the Empire. I do believe that the Great War would have ended a lot differently if the Dragonborn fought with the Empire. Now I think it would be amazing to have a decent sized questline of espionage type activities against the Thalmor (not exactly sneaking about, but actions that would directly damage their power)leading up to a battle that has you riding into battle alongside General Tullius/Ulfic Stormcloak against the Thalmor in a fight to free Tamriel.

I would love to go to mainland Morrowind. But even more than that, I think I'd like an expansion based around the Aldmeri Dominion. Maybe join them, or go to war against them.

Also Summerset Isle, for some reason I see that being a lot like Cyrodiil but I'd love to see the Altmer's homeland.

Ok I'm unable to post links on my phone so when I get home I'll edit and give it.

ANYWAYS! Rumors are circulating that in future dlcs we will be able to travel to Morrowind and Cyrodil(sp?) These rumors are here because PC players can enter the clipping command and travel to these areas. Empty they may be but Vverdenfall and Cyrodils capitol should be there.

Entrances to these areas are marked by a man-made gate with an invisible wall blocking your way to enter. This topic was found on gamerant forums . If anyone wouldn't mind posting a link to it for me I would appreciate it

Credit goes to: Divinity

But yeah this would be sick although isnt Vvardenfell like effed up? Explosion and all that?

I have mentioned this before and I understand alot of newer players do not get that Vvardenfell isn't all of Morrowind, it is just a large island that is a part of it. In the lore mainland Morrowind is still there and not blown to bits as everyone assumes......... here is the map......... http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:TamrielMap.jpg

Go to Atmora and make an alliance with the newly freed Skyrim or the re-conquered Imperial Province of Skyrim. Either way, it would be cool to go to Atmora to forge an alliance with the ones that stayed behind in Atmora instead of immigrating to Skyrim with Ysgramor. Forging the alliance is to eventually beat back the Thalmor and whatnot

i'd love to be able to see what Morrowind and the Imperial City looks like 200 years later, i hope these rumours are true,

Infact hopefully one day, when technology moves forward, we will get an Elder Scroll game covering every region in Tamriel.

They won't create an entire province for DLC. Even if they did, it would cost £30 or more, considering how much Skyrim/Oblivion were when they came out. No, they'll release DLC, but it will be a cell separate from Skyrim - you might end up travelling somewhere via the ETC, or they'll use another deity to create a realm.

I'd like to see an expansion that takes us to the border region of High Rock. We haven't been there in quite some time, it's also the only remaining Imperial province that we haven't really heard about since Daggerfall. What's happened there since Oblivion? Since the White-Gold Concordant? I also doubt they'd make an entirely new game out of some place we've had a game about prevously, so an expansion pack or DLC is probably the only way we'll get to visit again,

As would I.

I'd love to see a "Journey to the Center of the Earth" themed DLC.

I'd like it if the DLC added content to the main game, rather than creating new locations to travel to. Like storylines in which you could fight or join some of the less detailed factions, like the Silver Hands, Thalmor, or (please oh god i want to join them so bad)Forsworn.

I think we may see DLC's cover small parts of other continents, Valenwood hasnt had much attention, through dialogue early on in Skyrim there is mention of sap of the tree. Floating cities etc. maybe one of these. But if I can make a personal guess. DLC or full expansion may cover another mass, then I think another game in the future may actually move away from Tamriel. What could cause more excitement than land we barely know a think about?

Most of morrowind was still destroyed, not just Vvarvendfell. I'd say the whole province is around 2/3 2.5/3 destroyed. Don't forget the huge tidal waves that would be caused. If I recall, Winterhold was kinda hit by it too, the college is all that went untouched.

Would this be possible?
There are just so many...difficulties there...
