I really wonder if Bethesda is just trolling us all by making the most obnoxious characters in the game kids.

Am I the only one that thinks of Fihada of Solitude? He's that Redguard with the wacko haircut that runs the fletcher, and ever single time I pass him by he repeats his obnoxiously voiced assurance that "though I may look like a dashing swordman...". I want him to stay silent before he provokes me into something out of character.

OMG serious? I was just thinking of posting a thread that he is my favorite insane prophet of any Bethesda title so far! Kind of a tradition you know. Oblivion's prophet ranting about the end of the world, Fallout 3's insane prophet of Adam, but this guy takes the cake for sure!

Anyway, most annoying NPC... got to be that stupid dog from the Clavicus quest, just because every time I stand still he runs up and sniffs my butt and nudges my character forward over and over like five feet. I had to save the game just so I could beat the tar out of him. Annoying NPC with essential flag is annoying!

I spent ages looking for a dog companion, then I found one....and couldn't stand him!

That's right, I'm talking about Barbas - not only is his voice incredibly annoying, but he just gets in the way as a companion. I've just been in the Ratway sewers with him and Lydia, and he just doesn't keep still. He's constantly jumping up at me, pushing me to one side (including during conversations) and blocking me in narrow hallways.

I so wanted to like him, I really did.

Lydia. She just decides she can live on my house, and eat my food..... SHE STOLE MY SWEET ROLL!!! But the main thing that pissed me off was when I was moving some stuff around in my room and she told me to put that down. I lost it, and killed her. She is currently hiding behind the guest bed in breezehome....

Blasphemy! Jzargo is my companion. I pretend he's Maiq.

That Ydolida girl in Whiterun. I'd freaking lightning bolt the crap outta her if she didn't make me food an give me money.

That doesnt prevent me from testing my werewolf rage on her though and reload a save.

The list keeps expanding, I hate anyone who says snide, usually nonsensical things to you in passing (Like Nazeem) or who talks to you as if you are in the middle of a conversation out of nowhere. ("I work for Belethor at the blah blah blah you should etc...") Do you really state your profession to everyone who walks by? Gonna be a long day for you. And of course, almost all the children are little [censored]heads, of course they aren't afraid of big scary Dovahkiin... they know they're the most powerful creatures in the game because they're indestructible.

Am I the only one who doesn't hate the kids in this game? Yes the ones in Whiterun are ANNOYING, but the ones in other towns can be really funny, like the ones in Solitude who run up and tag you. Who runs up to really dangerous killers and just TAGS them!?

LOL.I thought it was obvious.Besides,Bethesda has too much experience making annoying(or lovable in at least one case)troll characters for it to be a coincidence.Especially considering how taboo the topics involving children are around here.

Yep. Him. I was very interested in what he had to say when I first entered Whiterun. I sat there and listened to his speech, then talked to him some, then went about my business.

The 50th time I heard him SHOUTING throughout the town, I just planted my Ebony battleaxe into the back of his skull. I enjoy Whiterun much more now.
