Dumbest Thing I've Done So Far : V

So I'm walking across the great white north. Enjoying myself. Frying snowbears. Fighting a dragon. Somewhere along the way... somehow... I remapped my controls and must have accidentally dropped my archmage robe. I got to a city to do some enchanting, and I noticed I was naked. So I either DISENCHANTED and accidentally destroyed the robe... or I accidentally dropped it when I picked up some refugee crap by mistake.

GAAAH!!

My last save with the robe on is two levels and many, many hours ago.

Worth replaying? Or should I suffer?

Depends. Are you on the PC? If so, console commands.

Otherwise look around for a bit, considering it's that important to you. Maybe reload if you can't find it.

Dumbest thign ive ever done was levelscaling a rabbit too 50 ... its weird looking at the incredible landscape from the planes of whiterun and seeing a godzilla sized rabbit hopping around in slow motion.

do you have a search area? if it didn't drop into water it won't have moved far from the drop point and if you left it on a corpse acidentally it's possibly you left SOMETHING ELSE as well so worth a check jsut do not fast travel as it will eat up time and make it despawn faster if possible.

What would be the console command to get it back? I don't consider that cheating since it was mine to begin with... just an unfortunate keystroke error. I remapped my mouse buttons... so I blame that.

Try this ... player.additem 0010F570 1 ... and if that isn't the right item try this one ... player.additem 0007C932 1

The first one worked! Thank you. I figured out the issue. I remapped the R key for one of my mouse buttons... I thought it would work. But instead of getting me out of menus, it ends up dropping things. I wonder what else I've dropped?

Nah, I'm pure mage and I went complete set with daedric armor with enchanted mage stats on them...it's beat that robe by far at endgame periot!
