I want my quick 3 day respawn timer back.

For instance walking from Whiterun to Riften, then staying there for 5 days and walking back is incredibly boring. The only activity you get are the 5 or so spots where something randomly spawns (M'aiq, Skooma dealer, etc.) and Dragons. The rest is empty and the road is paved with dead bodies from previous kills...
